  • CARRASCO-GALLEGO Ruth

    PhD in Supply Chain, receiving several awards.

    She is professor at ESCP Business School and Associate Dean for Sustainable Transformation at Industrial Engineering Technical School (Technical University of Madrid - UPM).

    She also worked as a supply chain engineer at L’Oreal and Air Liquide.

    In parallel to her extensive academic activity, she is involved in fostering the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at UPM (Technical University of Madrid) and currently leads the CircularizatE initiative, an in-campus living lab of real circular economy.

    She has been a visiting scholar at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (2009), the INSEAD Social Innovation Centre (2011) and the University of Wakayama in Japan (2013).

    She published extensively in her areas of expertise and regularly participated  as an expert in forums and panels such as UN EcoSoc in Geneva.

  • CASANUEVA Carlos

    EMBA Local Academic Director at ESCP Madrid campus.

    Professor in the Finance Dept. in different Masters degrees and in the Executive MBA.

    His main research interests are Financial Markets and Leadership.

    He has collaborated with Professor Stewart D. Friedman from The Wharton School, developing Total Leadership in Spain and Europe.

    Since 2008, He is also a founding partner of OpSeeker and BeWay, start-up companies founded and managed by ESCP alumni. At Nationale Nederlanden in Spain, he was an Independent Director Member of the Board and President of the Audit Committee from 2016 to 2020.

    His career has primarily been in the private sector, with almost 15 years of experience as an executive in the Spanish financial sector, as General Manager and Board Member at Santander Seguros, part of Grupo Santander, as member of the Executive Committee responsible for Strategy, Marketing, and Products to 2003 at Citibank Spain. He also served on the Board of Visa España, Servired, Citigestión, Citipensión, and Citioperaciones.

    MSc in Industrial Engineering from UPM (Technical University Madrid). In 1991, he graduated with an MBA from The Wharton School with a Fulbright Scholarship. He completed his PhD with honors, cum laude, in Financial Markets from UPM in 2007.

  • CLARKE Diana

    Her expertise areas are: Cross-cultural Management, Organizational Innovation and Leadership.

    She is a member of Top Ten, an association of prestigious consultants in the sphere of Human Resources and Management.

    Diana Clarke, with British nationality, has extensive international experience as lived and worked in seven countries and 3 continents.

    Her experience has crossed several fields, but her most significant and extensive expertise has been in the field of Human Resources Development and Human Resources Consulting.

    For over seventeen years, she worked for a multinational corporate and investment bank (Citibank, 1984-2000) and from 2000 she decided to go into consulting,

    Diana Clarke has a number of accreditations for the use of executive diagnosis tools, and is certified in PNL applied to Coaching and Training.

    During the last twelve years, Diana has developed a sound career in Executive Training for multinational companies. She is co-author of ”La Nevera Vacía, Gestión de Equipos en Tiempos de Incertidumbre” and “Resiliencia”.

  • COBO José Ramón

    Associate Dean of Executive Education & Digital Solutions at ESCP Madrid campus.

    Professor in Strategic and Innovation Project Management at ESCP Business School. He lectures in Master and Executive Education programmes, with a strong focus on agile management, innovation, digital transformation and change management.

    At ESCP, he was leading the MSc in Business Project Management and Consulting, as scientific director. Currently, he leads the Executive Master in International Business.

    He is certified as Project Management Professional PMP® and Agile Certified Practitioner by the Project Management Institute.

    As a practitioner, he was working in strategic and management consulting, implementing digital solutions in international companies, and he was leading more than twenty R&D international projects.

    His research outputs have been implemented through innovation and agile practices in companies such as Atos, Amadeus, Indra, Repsol, L'Oréal, Airbus, IAG, BNP Paribas, Generali and AXA, among others.

    He is the author of several scientific publications in these fields and participates periodically in international research conferences.

  • DE BRUYNE Cheryl

    Professor at ESCP Madrid collaborating in a number of programs, such as Executive MBA and other masters programmes and executive corporate training at ESCP Business School

    She holds an M.B.A. at Universidad de León / Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain)

    Cheryl has over 20 years experience lecturing and training on organizational behavior and cross-cultural leadership to company managers and directors worldwide. She is accredited by TMS (Team Management Systems) and a Master practitioner in Neuro-Lingüistic Programming (PNL).

    Relevant Academic achievements: She graduated in International Relations at California University and has an MBA from Warwick University.

    Cheryl has trained managers and teams in more than 30 top brand companies from different sectors in areas such as Advanced International Negotiation, Influence and Impact, Working in and Leading International Teams, Cross-cultural Effectiveness, Sales and Customer Orientation, Managing Meetings, Creativity and Innovation, Project Management, Train the trainer.

  • De Córdoba Gonzalo Fernández

    PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence.

    At ESCP Business School, he currently teaches macroeconomics and blockchain technologies applied to Real Estate and Economic Consulting. His academic path has been developed in several universities in Spain.

    He is currently researching the effects of Artificial Intelligence on production and income distribution, spatial macroeconomic models, and cryptoeconomics.

    He teaches and writes on numerical methods for dynamic general equilibrium models, macroeconomics, and international trade theory. His work has been published in journals such as the Review of Economic Dynamics, Journal of International Economics, Economic Theory, and Public Choice, and he has served as a referee for more than two dozen international journals.

  • FISAC Ramón

    Professor of Sustainability and Entrepreneurship, Executive Director of the Master in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Coordinator of the Sustainability Office at the Madrid Campus.

    His fields of expertise include sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation.

    His research focuses on innovative business models for sustainability and social business models.

    PhD in Management Engineering (2014) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), MSc in Industrial Engineering (2007) and a From 2010 to 2015, he taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses on as a sustainability analyst at ACCIONA, where he designed and implemented the Corporate Training Program on Sustainability.

    Over the past decade, he has lectured in postgraduate programs at various national universities (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, and Universidad Carlos III) and international business schools (Universitas Pelita Harapan and Universidad de Los Andes).

  • GASTON - BRETON Charlotte

    She is the Coordinator of the European Marketing Department and the co-Academic Director of the online Executive Master in International Business (EMIB).

    She is the scientific director of the Research Centre on Well-Being in Management

    Previously, she worked at the University Carlos III of Madrid and at the University Paris Ouest Nanterre. She has been invited by research centres such as the Stern Business School (New York University) and the Haas Business School of Berkeley (California).

    Her research areas deal with consumer experiences and psychology. She has published books, articles in international journals (e.g., Marketing Letters, International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Research), national journals (e.g., Recherche et Applications en Marketing, Décisions Marketing), and conferences.

    She holds a HDR (authorized to steer researches) from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and a Ph.D. from the University Paris Dauphine

    Her consultancy activities are related to customer experience and data analysis for consumer goods (L'Oréal, Carrefour), insurance companies (AXA, REALE), advertising agencies (BDDP Conseil, Havas Media), and marketing research industries (GfK, Symphony).

  • GIL Elena

    She holds a BA in Business & Economics from Deusto Business School and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

    She is an International Senior Executive with 25+ years of experience in Digital Technologies and the Telco industry. Board Member and Professor.

    As the Business Unit Director of Artificial Intelligence & Data, Elena is responsible for developing and managing the P&L of this business at Telefonica Tech, helping enterprises and governments in their digital transformation by leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, and other technologies.

    Previously, Elena has held prominent managerial positions in Telefonica and worked at McKinsey and Mitchell Madison Group in Madrid, São Paulo, Miami, and New York.

  • GONZALEZ Héctor

    Professor in the Marketing department at ESCP Madrid and also the research representative (director) of the Madrid campus and acting Co-director of the ESCPTech Institute.

    A true global citizen, Hector has gathered a diverse range of experiences throughout his life.

    Hector has lived, worked and studied in various countries such as Spain, Germany, Japan, South Korea, United States and the United Kingdom. Over the last decades his professional portfolio has grown in various roles in marketing, education and corporate strategy. During this time Hector has worked on projects for small to medium sized businesses as well as large international companies such as Pepsi or Ford.

    Prior to his role at ESCP Business School, he was a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at The York Management School, UK. He received his PhD in Marketing from the Bradford University School of Management without corrections. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Methods from the University of Bradford as well as an MBA and Bachelor of Science from California State University.

    Hector is interested in interdisciplinary research with a particular focus on phenomena addressing human-robot/AI interactions.

  • LIMA Vitor

    Professor in the Marketing department at ESCP Madrid campus.

    PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) from IAG/PUC-Rio and Schulich School of Business/York University (as a visiting PhD student). He also holds an MSc in Business Administration from FGV/EBAPE, an MBA in Marketing from FGV, a BA in Advertising with an extension in Branding from ESPM, and a Digital Marketing Strategy Executive Certificate from Harvard University.

    He previously held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Schulich School of Business/York University.

    He frequently collaborates with media outlets, such as the BBC. His awards include the AMS Mary Kay Doctoral Dissertation Award, an AMS Review - Sheth Foundation Doctoral Competition for Conceptual Articles (ADCCA), and the ACR Best Working Paper Award, among others. His research interests encompass Consumer Culture Theory (CCT), AI, robots, biohacking, self-tracking, cyborgs, and transhumanism.

  • MCSHANE Alan

    Professor in Executive Education Programmes and in Specialised Masters programmes in the 5 European campuses of ESCP Europe.

    Alan is specialized in communications skills, innovation and creativity using methodologies like Gamestorming and Visual Thinking.

    Among others, he has developed lectures, seminars and workshops for multinational companies such as: Atos, Orange, PWC, AIG, Philip Morris, Axa, Johnson & Johnson, etc.

    His career at corporate level has been developed as a senior consultant in Financial firms holding different executive positions.

    He is also a certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials and is an expert on interactive hands-on talks on creativity and brainstorming at events.

    His Goal: “don't bore others, don't bore myself and never stop learning!”

  • MELNYK Vladimir

    Professor of Marketing in masters degrees and Executive MBA and Scientific Director of the MSc in Marketing and Digital Media program at ESCP Madrid campus.

    He holds a PhD in Marketing and Consumer Behavior from Wageningen University (The Netherlands), CentER's Research Master in Marketing from Tilburg University (The Netherlands), and an MSc in Economics from CORIPE Piemonte (Turin, Italy). He is a co-chair of the Mediterranean Association of Consumer Research, a member of the European Marketing Academy, and the Association of Consumer Research.

    His primary research interests include consumer decision-making, communication strategies, brand management, the adoption of innovative products, social influence, and peer pressure. Vladimir’s work focuses on understanding the role of social influence in consumer decision-making, employing methods such as experimental research and meta-analysis.

    In 2008, he received the Best Paper Award from the European Academy of Marketing for his meta-analysis paper. He has multiple publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Marketing Letters, Psychology & Marketing, and Advances in Consumer Research.

    He has also worked on several externally funded multidisciplinary projects commissioned by the European Union, as well as Dutch and Spanish governments.

  • REFICCO Ezequiel

    Professor at the ESCP Business School, Madrid campus.

    Until January 2022, he was an Associate Professor at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and during 2009-18 he was a faculty member and chair of the Strategy Department at the Universidad de Los Andes School of Management (Bogotá, Colombia). Between 2001-2008 he served at Harvard Business School as a Post-doctoral fellow and Senior Researcher.

    He co-authored and co-edited 2 books through Harvard University Press, and numerous articles in journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics, the European Journal of Operations, Business & Society, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Cleaner Production, Organization & Environment, Harvard Business Review edición Latin América, and the Stanford Social Innovation Review, among others. According to the Social Science Research Network, he can be counted among the top 10% of authors by all-time downloads.

    He has been singled out among the 500 most globally cited researchers from Colombian universities in all scientific disciplines - in the # 108th place (Colombia Confidential, 2015). He has been awarded at both the Universidad de Los Andes and Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey, for being among the faculty with the highest research output.

    In parallel to his academic activity, he consults for multilateral organizations and large corporations and is a permanent member of the Social Council of Inditex (owners of Zara and 7 other commercial chains).

  • SÁNCHEZ VERDASCO Javier

    Professor in the area of Corporate Finance and Investment.

    He has a large experience in training executives for more than 20 years in top companies

    From 2000 he has been a Managing Director in a consultancy firm developing financial training and consultancy. Previously, he developed his career as a Retail Banking Advisor and Equity Analyst in Banco Atlántico, Chief of Equity Analysis and Head of Asset Management in Corporación Financiera Cajamadrid, Deputy Managing Director of Mutual Funds in Banco Zaragozano and Head of International Treasuries and Capital Markets Internal Audit and Structured Derivatives Controller in Santander.
