The first edition of the ESCP International Politics Society (EIPS) Essay Contest launched with strong engagement across campuses, inviting students and external candidates to submit original journalistic pieces on the theme “Can culture and soft power matter more than armies in geopolitics?” Participants can choose between three formats—Op-Ed, Journalistic Feature, or Reflective Essay—all capped at 1,000 words and assessed through a rigorous, style-specific rubric. Open to ESCP students and external candidates, the contest emphasised clarity, originality, and analytical depth, with top entries earning publication on PPP ESCP and recognition at the Spring 2026 ceremony.

Timeline:
Contest Opens: 1st December 2025
Submission Deadline: 15th January 2026
Award Ceremony: Paris Campus, Spring 2026
